SOCI 3310: Research Methods and Analysis is the department of Social Science's required research methods course for all fields. This course teaches the basics of how to ask research questions, how to create theories and hypotheses, and how to test these hypotheses. Another part of the course is learning to interpret and critique the work of others. We will also discuss how to present research to others.
Valuable skills learned in this course are basic research and writing, how to use statistical software, how to interpret statistical analysis, and presentation skills.
